Renewal & policy checking for agencies

Catch what changed before your client does.

BindCheck reads the renewal and the prior policy, diffs the ISO form schedule and the dec-page limits, deductibles and endorsements, and returns an E&O-defensible checklist of exactly what moved — each finding cited to the page.

54s

Every form

by number and edition — added, dropped or edition-changed against the expiring term.

Every limit

and deductible, prior value beside the renewal value, so a quiet reduction can't slip past.

≈1 min

from two uploaded policies to a dated, page-cited checklist you keep as checking documentation.

Carriers re-underwrite every renewal.

A dropped endorsement, a narrowed form, a raised deductible — the dec page looks the same, and the gap reaches your client at claim time. BindCheck reads both policies and shows you the difference, before renewal, in about a minute.

One engine, three checks

Every comparison your file owes

The same deterministic diff runs behind all three checks — you only pick the baseline. Same two documents in, same page-cited checklist out, every time.

Renewal check

Renewal vs. prior policy

The core job. Diff the renewal against the expiring term — every form, limit, deductible and endorsement that moved, added, dropped or narrowed.

Prior policyRenewal

New-business check

Issued policy vs. proposal

Confirm you got what you sold. Diff the issued policy against the proposal or accepted quote to catch a carrier that quietly re-formed the account.

Proposal / quoteIssued policy

Checklist check

One policy vs. a standard

Grade a single policy against a coverage standard for its class — required forms and minimum limits — to catch what a program is missing, not just what changed.

Coverage standardSubject policy

How it works

One renewal. Every change, surfaced.

1

Upload the two documents

Drop in the baseline and the subject — prior + renewal, proposal + issued, or a coverage standard. Both are extracted: form schedule, dec-page limits and deductibles, named insureds, endorsements.

2

We diff them deterministically

The ISO/AAIS form schedule and the declarations numbers are compared line by line. Same two documents, same diff, every time — manuscript endorsements are set aside for a human.

3

Work the checklist, keep the record

Read what changed — added, removed, reduced, missing, manuscript — each with a severity and a page citation. Mark findings resolved. The dated diff is your checking documentation.

Why BindCheck

Priced and built for the small commercial agency

No transparent, self-serve policy-checking tool existed for agencies your size — so checking meant a spreadsheet, an hour a renewal, or a BPO you can't reach without a sales call. BindCheck changes that.

Not a demo-gated BPO

Exdion, Patra and ReSource Pro route checking to a staffed team you engage through sales, priced per policy. BindCheck is software you run yourself — self-serve, flat-priced, first renewal free.

Not an enterprise AI rollout

Quandri and Qumis are sold enterprise, with implementation. This is one focused job — the prior-vs-renewal diff — that you buy on the page and use in minutes.

Not your AMS's blind spot

EZLynx, Applied and HawkSoft manage the book but don't natively auto-diff a renewal against the prior policy. BindCheck does exactly that, and hands the checklist back.

Built as an E&O control

Every check is documentation

“Failure to procure the coverage the client expected” is a top agents' E&O claim. A documented, consistently-run policy-checking procedure is the defense — and the artifact a carrier's procedures audit looks for. BindCheck produces that artifact on every check. It grants no credit itself; confirm any premium credit with your own E&O carrier.

  • Human-in-the-loop: manuscript endorsements go to you, not an auto-interpreter.
  • Deterministic diff: the same two policies always produce the same result.
  • ISO/AAIS form facts only — number, edition, purpose. No copyrighted wording reproduced.
  • Every diff saved and dated, each finding cited to its source page.

FAQ

Questions agencies ask

What exactly does BindCheck compare?+

It lines the subject up against the baseline — renewal vs prior, issued vs proposal, or a policy vs a coverage standard — and diffs the ISO/AAIS form schedule (every form by number and edition) plus the declarations limits, sublimits, deductibles and endorsements. You get a checklist of what was added, removed, reduced or is missing.

How does it handle manuscript endorsements?+

It flags them. Non-standard, carrier-drafted language has no library meaning, so BindCheck surfaces it for a person to read rather than auto-interpreting it. The routine comparison is automated; the judgment on bespoke wording stays with you.

Does it reproduce ISO form language?+

No. BindCheck stores form FACTS only — the form number, edition date and a short plain-English description. Copyrighted ISO/AAIS form wording is never reproduced; your policy documents remain the source for exact language.

How is this an E&O control?+

Every check is saved, dated, with the changes it found and the manuscript items it flagged, each cited to a page — the documentation an E&O defense wants. A documented checking procedure can also qualify for a carrier's E&O premium credit; that credit comes from your carrier, not from us. Confirm eligibility with your E&O carrier.

What does it cost?+

Flat monthly plans: Starter $99 (50 checks), Growth $199 (150), Agency $399 (500, plus the REST API and MCP server). Start free and diff your first renewals at no cost — no card, no sales call.

Can I try it without signing up?+

Yes. Diff your first renewal free — upload a prior policy and a renewal and see the checklist, no account required.
